Going Big with the Gobosh G-700S

Gobosh G700: Strange Name, Nice Airplane
I easily spotted the Gobosh G700 in the pattern at Plainville, CT where I was waiting for my chance to fly it. It has a unique and sporty appearance with its notched tail below the rudder and above the stabilator and upturned wingtips. As for that odd name . . .

You can add another acronym to the world of Light Sport Aircraft: Gobosh.
It means "Go Big Or Stay Home" and is both the name and the attitude of Gobosh Aviation, a company that has entered virtually every facet of LSA from imports and distribution to training and financing.

With all the hubbub surrounding the announcements of new light sport aircraft from Cessna and Cirrus, you may not be aware of a third company hoping to make an impact in the burgeoning LSA market. Gobosh Aviation unveiled its new light sport aircraft, the 700S, this week at AirVenture 2007.

And Now, the Luxury Sport Aircraft

Gobosh (short for Go Big Or Stay Home) Aviation unveiled an aircraft it considers worthy of a variation of the LSA. The 700S is what it terms a luxury sport aircraft and it promises to change the way people think about the new market sector. The aircraft is based on a Polish design built by Aero, but Gobosh says it is not simply an import.
